Brands You Need To Make Up Your Minds About

Anyone who knows me knows I love makeup. I love buying makeup. I love collecting makeup. I love wearing makeup. I love experimenting with makeup. I especially love sharing makeup finds. I've quickly developed quite a collection of makeup and am always ready to buy more. It's an expensive hobby, but I can't help loving it. Soon I'll need a separate home just to store it all, and I'm not sure if that's an exaggeration lol. I've picked up quite a pace, okay? Anyways, I figured instead of just going and just buying these new items, why not share? I'm not sure about you, but these are some brands/products I haven't heard of before but am ready to drop my money for, so lets get this started!

1. Frankie Rose Cosmetics
Okay, IMATS happened somewhat recently, and I was so bummed (but my bank account wasn't) cause I didn't go this year. I've been living for haul videos, though, and that's where I came across this brand. Jesi from MesiJesiBeauty mentioned it, and I'm dying to try the products she mentioned. I'm especially excited about their lip gloss in 'Exotic.' I'm not a lip gloss girl, but Jesi was wearing this, and I died a little inside. It's the perfect mauve pink with a bit of brown... and it ISN'T sticky. Your lips get this dimension... IDK. It's just really nice. I'd also love love to pick up their foundation and concealer. I'm fairly fair lol, and loved how natural it looked on her. It's so hard for me to find a foundation that I like. I'm oily, but I don't always want a matte finish that makes me feel dry. I get dry patches, too, so I rather have a silky natural finish or a matte finish that leans on the natural side, if that makes sense. I'm fairly certain I'm the lightest shade in both the foundation and concealer, so I think I'll be making a visit to their website pretty soon. This isn't a makeup brand I've heard about before, so I'd love to see if their products are as great as they seem.

2. Black Moon Cosmetics
Here's another brand I haven't heard about before Jesi mentioned them. I just needed to see the shade to be sold on it. Finding out that this brand is cruelty free and long wearing is the icing on top. Their liquid lipsticks have such GORGEOUS colors. The one I'm most excited for has to be Libra. I mean I want them all, not that that's a surprise lol. If I could only pick one, I'd pick Libra, though. I could NOT stop raving about how beautiful this lipstick is to my best friend. We were at In-N-Out, and I just wanted her to look at this beautiful lipstick. It's probably the first one I'll buy to try them out, actually. It's just the perfect blend of pink, brown, grey, and beauty. It has vitamin E and is supposed to be moisturizing and matte? I definitely want to try this. It's currently sold out, but it's about to be back on February 21st, along with some new colors.

3. RCMA Makeup
I'm pale as Voldemort, for most of the year. It gives me the hardest time finding light enough setting powders and translucent powders tend to give me that flashback or white cast. It's not cute. Anyways, I only came across this life changing prodcut because of Kathleen Lights. Look, I've sworn by my Laura Mercier magic powder--as I like to refer to it--since I got it. Everyone and their dog have loved it all over YouTube, too. New Year's Eve, though, I was having a good time. There were a lot of pictures with flash and Laura Mercier betrayed me, to say the least. I've also noticed that my skin has gotten a tad drier. I'm an oily dry combo skin mix. I'm oily, but I do get dry patches, and I realized how uneven the texture of my skin has become. I'm not saying this is because of the Laura Mercier powder; I'll definitely continue to use it, but I do see that it isn't helping my case. This has basically debunked Laura Mercier from holy grail status. I trust Kathleen, okay. She has never steered me in the wrong direction, so I NEED this. YOU NEED this. The RCMA Makeup No Color Powder is good for ALL skin types and can be used on all skin tones. Let me mention it's basically a half or a third of the price of the Laura Mercier powder with an even better quality! It's sold out, but you should keep checking. You can also check here on Beauty Lish when it comes back.

4. Parian Spirit
Something I've learned is that your brushes make a big difference on the results of your makeup. I've used brushes that leave my makeup looking okay. Then, I've had brushes that make me look like I'm naturally flawless and have a natural highlight and extravagant eye shadow. Basically, I don't think anyone is born with eye shadow, but there are brushes that are amazing at blending that make you wonder is this applied, because it goes so well? I don't think anyone wants cake face, anyways. Alas, I'm ranting. My point is you want to maintain the quality of your brushes. A big part of doing that is cleaning them without damaging them. Granted, brushes won't last a lifetime, but you do want them to live out a full life. Now, I've loved my solid blendercleanser, but I'm open to new products, like I said earlier. Jesi mentioned this as a must have product in her IMATS haul, so I'd suggest you run and purchase this set. Her makeup is always flawless, and if she's using this on her brushes... you bet I want to try out this magical cleanser. Besides, this is a set, so it's perfect to help make up your mind about this brand. Don't ignore that this is only $7 more than the Sephora cleanser but includes 3 products!

5. Black Magic Lashes
Now this is something I'm especially happy about. These are cruelty free mink lashes, and I'll be the first to tell you they are absolutely GORGEOUS! I can't even function with their packaging either! The lashes and packaging are to die for! Look, I love love love eyelashes, so this is like candy for me. I want them all! I live for finding new brands and styles, so this is a treasure. I haven't heard of this brand before, either, so everyone NEEDS to check them out and spread the word. They don't have a website, though, so you're limited to reaching them through instagram. Their profile does have a phone number to order, but I would recommend contacting them over a Direct Message first. They're extremely nice and will answer all of your questions. They currently have about 17 different styles and only take orders over the phone or over email until they launch their website, hopefully soon this year. Payments are done over a PayPal invoice to make sure all of your billing information is secure. Basically, it's safe and while each style is $24, last time I checked, and they're really worth the money. Like I said, it's safe, good quality, cruelty free, and great service. Besides, if you're smart you know to take care of your lashes and reuse them.

I hope you guys try these products out or at least enjoy this post! Let me know if you do buy any of these products and what you think!

Xx
